I have always really liked Sharpies. Except for shape, size, color, they are pretty much the same. They make a Sharpie for every need. What sets these apart is that they are not round in shape so they may be more comfortable to use for some people. Other than that it's as usual a great permanent marker.

There doesn't seem to be must competition where permanent markers are concerned, so much so I think everyone knows what a "Sharpie" is and probably doesn't even read reviews on such a product!
I will say, I like this version since the pen is thick and slanted (not round tip) making poster making or labeling or signage easy! The smaller counterpart are more often kept around but I can think of several times I had to draw large lettering and was filling in characters for several minutes with the standard Sharpie, which is where this big one comes in to do the job right!
Gotta love permanent ink! Gotta love bold black! BTW, if ever you should decide you want the permanent ink of your plastic item or hand an alcohol wipe does the trick (cant vouch for other surface types though)
