This might seem crazy, but it has a double purpose:
Not only for writing with anymore -- I actually used it to
spot touch my hair roots. It really works on brown
hair. There are just those days where you don't have
enough time to have your roots touched up, or
when your hair is over processed -- well you
can use this marker and quickly get rid of grays --
it's only temporary, but at least your not using
one of those really expensive hair color sprays that
disperses all over the bathroom or your clothing.
Don't touch your scalp with the color and
just know initially it smells like marker --
it washes out in one wash.
PROS: Use it for hair root touch ups (keep in purse)
Very quick and easy to use
Goes only where you need it
Very inexpensive
Has dual purpose
CONS: Smells funny initially (use a spray of perfume in hair afterwards)
Washes out -- Don't get caught in the rain

Not a fine point at all. Misleading packaging
and description. Its your average Sharpie, with
a fattish point.

I used these all the time in the army, for rosters, packing lists, maps, etc. The "permanent" pens will write on laminate and come off with the eraser pen, the staedler eraser, or alcohol pads. Won't wipe off when you place the writing in you pocket or if it gets a little wet. I plan to use them on constuction sites when writing on laminated maps, etcs. So if you're looking for the pens you used in the military, these are it. I don't think I've ever seen them sold in any store.

Hands down, these are the best markers ever. Like some of the other reviewer, I found them in Europe. Here are some cool features not mentioned enough:
1. They are fine pointed. The tips do not deform with time. I have had my set for about 4 years and they still write very cleanly.
2. The sturdy clear plastic case folds open so that it props up into a little stand. This is nice when I am switching between colors. I can easily pull out and replace the pens.
3. The leakproof case can fit into a shirt pocket or purse without the pens going all over.
I found them last year at Staples, but they no longer carry them. These make great little graduation gifts so I got several online.
On note: this is listed as overhead projection markers. But I use them for many other uses.

These things are great. I admit you could get the regular style cheaper but our use for these warrants the one handed operation. When you are holding a box trying to check off items on a list, last thing you want to do is set everything down to pull the cap off. So yes these are worth the extra cost. I love them and they work just fine in a room that never gets over 10 degrees all winter.

I use these continually to mark my fathers clothing with his name. He resides in a rest home and needs all his clothing marked with his name on it. Ive found these to be the best. Great for anyone who needs to mark their name on their clothing for whatever reason. I just ordered several more.

I use it to mark my son's cloths and other items for day care. It works great and does not come off the clothing even after several washes. Oh it does feather a little on some type of clothing.

I'm taking a wild shot in the dark with this one but not with TCP Global. It seems that it's only their satisfaction that concerns them. I placed
an order for Sharpie Markers 4 pack item number 15661PP and they chose and its stated on my invoice they chose FOR ME to change my order from a 4
pack to 4 each of item number 15001! I own my own company myself and this is a practice that's UNHEARD of! I actually received 4 markers in an envelope
not even in their original packaging. I do realize on-line you do purchase used items but that is why i specified the 4 PACK! Unbelievable! I have decided
to attempt another order of the same product from the same company just to see if they can get it right this time. I suppose miracles can happen once in awhile.
